Work/Play

(when you enjoy what you do, is there really a difference?)

Digital Art

Digital media allows me flexibility of creating any time, anywhere, as well as the ability to try many styles and subjects on the fly. The possibilities are practically endless! My digital media arts are an exploration of the subjects that interest me; figures and portraits with an emphasis on textural details.

The accessibility of digital art means I can create a larger body of work. I would love to create something for you. Contact me if you would like to commission a digital piece of art.

Traditional Art

Working with my hands helps ease the tensions of the world. Often times, I' can be found with a sketchbook in hand, drawing the world around me. That tactile expression also manifests in paintings, sculptures, and collage. I like to follow my my natural interests, which most often are people.

I also enjoy creating traditional media art for others. If you are interested in commissioning some art, please contact me; I would love to create something beautiful for you.

Artist’s Sketchbook

Sketching is an integral part of my artistic process. Taking the pressure to ‘complete’ or ‘refine’ the work allows for more room explore, work quickly though multiple ideas, and find something that draws me into further work.

Here is a glimpse into my sketchbook; rough and gestural work of curiosities that capture my attention.

Graphic Designs

I have been working full-time in Graphic Design for the past 14 years, and have recently stepped into a role as a Senior Developer. Due to the nature of my organization’s work, I am unable to share any work I have designed in those 14 years.

As a result, the design work I can share is sparse, since my ‘off-hours’ are more often spent in personal pursuits of fine art and live painting. If you would like to discuss the work I do that I am not able to share, please contact me and we can chat.
